FS Topline Equestrian

FS Topline was founded by Stephen Forbes and Cara
Scheiwe in 2002. They met each other at Olds College
in 1997 while participating in the Equine Science, Sport
Horse Major program.
Stephen share's his thoughts on FS Topline.
"I ultimately started this business because I love
Dressage. Dressage has become more to me then
simply training of the horse. It has also trained me to
become who I am. I have a fascinating interest in the
Classical style of horsemanship, and have made an
avid study of amazing historical riders, such as
Pluvinel, Duke of Newcastle, Steinbrecht, Baucher, and
even more modern riders such as Nuno Oliveira.
After travelling to Portugal for 3 months in 2002, I
was able to witness first hand this Classical style
which still lives on in Iberia. I wanted to bring this
marvelous past into my own training while still trying to
find my own unique style. I am beginning to find that
style is ever changing, at least at my stage. So FS
Topline is trying to blend this old school with the new to
become something useful to the modern horse
industry.
After all it's about the creation of something
beautiful, something unique."
